Mattiazzi's Radice bar stool is light both visually and in weight. No screws or other metal fittings are used in the assembly – yet the stool is extremely comfortable and sturdy, thanks to its innovative three-legged structure and manufacturing method that combines robotics and craftsmanship. The small backrest provides a place to hang a jacket or bag, making Radice ideal for restaurant use. The Radice bar stool was designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin.

Designers Sem Hecht and Kim Colin are founders of the London-based Industrial Facility, formed in 2002 to explore the junction between industrial design and everyday life. Hecht and Colin have worked in various fields including product and furniture design, transportation and clothing. Their mission is to create beauty, functionality and quality, that will stand the test of time and exceed expectations.
