Description

The Tense pendant light by New Works is like a cloud floating in the middle of the room, creating a soft lighting and ethereal atmosphere in any space. Designed by Panter & Tourron, Tense is made from recycled Tyvek, a material that filters light similarly to paper or a thin fabric.

Delicate and appealing, the Tense pendant is designed for the modern neo-nomadic lifestyle: the pendant can be rolled up inside a tube during transportation and assembled without any tools. Furthermore, the material of the shade is entirely recyclable.

In 2019, the design and architecture publication Dezeen awarded the duo’s Tense collection as the furniture of the year – Tense was an investigation into global mobility and its possibilities in design.
